Reverse Your Chronic Disease

This is retirement health alert for anyone who suffers any type of chronic disease or pain. I retired early due to arthritis, but am getting better now.

In late 2011, I retired early, partly because arthritis pain was interfering with my ability to do my job. I thought it was an inevitable part of aging and hereditary bad luck, as well as being aggravated by stress and the ergonomics of sitting at a desk all day.

But I was wrong!

I was able to stop taking pain medications and am now comfortable as long as I maintain what I call a "clean" diet.

Life Before Clean Eating

As the arthritis spread, I became very afraid that I would eventually be crippled and not able to walk very far without pain. There were more and more days that I could hardly walk.

The pain medications complicated the problem. The side effects of missing a dose were even worse than the pain itself.

When I searched for information on curing or fighting arthritis, I found the website NoArthritis.com. The site was started by Dr. Norman Childers who also founded the Arthritis Nightshades Research Foundation.

I also found several other sites by people who claimed they had cured their arthritis and other very serious auto-immune diseases.

Some of their stories sounded exactly like mine!

The Deadly Nightshades

The cure is to eliminate the nightshade foods and derivative substances. Since I started following the no nightshade diet my pain has decreased more than 50% in only a couple of weeks, and I've been able to reduce my pain meds by 50%, too.

From my reading on the subject I've learned that the nightshades contain a chemical called Solanine which depletes the bones of calcium and calcifies the soft structures of the joints.

Over time, this substance accumulates in our bodies and in sensitive people, the result is pain and inflammation.

Which Foods Are Nightshades

The most common nightshade foods are tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and eggplant, as well as tobacco, but there are many others.

Because potato starch is used in all kinds of foods, it takes a bit of research and label study to eliminate all sources, but once you do, you can begin to feel better.

It takes about 3 or 4 months to eliminate the substance from our bodies, especially if these foods were staples in your diet for a long time, as they were in mine.

In my case, I felt better in a couple of weeks and after a month I was able to lower my dosage of pain medication. Long term, I hope to see even more improvement.
